Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: June 2010

Jessica Alba was in Paris to promote her latest movie ‘The Killer Inside Me’ at the UGC Cine Cite des Halles last night.

The actress looked gorgeous wearing a Lanvin Fall 2010 dress.

Her dark green haltered dress with a gathering on one side and a gold trimmed neckline is a really understated look.

I always assumed the bronze pendent on the runway was part of the dress.

Seeing the dress on Jessica makes it feel like something is missing, but she still carries this look off very well.

Dark brown leather Lanvin wedges with beige elastic ankle strap complete the look.

LOVE IT. I love it so much I could cry.

After at totally uninspiring “Twilight” red carpet, it takes Emma Watson at Glastonbury Festival to put a smile on my face today.

There’s no red carpet, just the British countryside at her feet.

The young actress looks fabulous wearing a Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 bustier with Hudson denim shorts and the obligatory wellington boots which are Christian Louboutin Egoutina boots – although with temperatures rising in the UK I don’t think she will need them this weekend.

I love that she worked this high-end piece into her casual look.

I’m also loving the Wang/Miu Miu messy plait and the Valentino fringed leather bucket bag

She may be at school, but she’s still studying the runway as well. Bravo.

You mostly hated Katy Perry Louis Vuitton look at Coachella Music Festival.

What you you think of Emma’s efforts?

Kylie Minogue is this weeks star guest on “Friday Night with Jonathan Ross” which will air later tonight on BBC1 at 10.35pm.

The star will talk about her battle with breast cancer and the support of family and fans.

She admitted that she fell for Spanish boyfriend Andres Velencoso immediately, despite the language barrier. She also talks about Lady Gaga, sacking her mother from her tour and the imminent arrival of Dannii’s baby.

After her interview she performed ‘All The Lovers’ and ‘Love at First Sight’ to a packed audience.

The Australian singer wore a Balmain Fall 2009 silver dress with a black bodice and train on the show.

Kylie has worn a lot of Balmain in the past.

Had it not been for the fact I would’ve assumed this was a knock-off, as it really lacks the wow factor off the runway.

I would go as far as to say it looks quite cheap and it dwarfs her tiny frame.

This has to be my least favourite look for Kylie.

She’s better than this.
