Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: May 2010

Diane Kruger was one of the many star guests to walk the red carpet at the 2010 National Movie Awards in London last night.

She opted for a metallic gold Lanvin Fall 2010 dress paired with Lanvin chain embellished pumps from the Spring 2010 collection.

It took me a while to figure out why I disliked this look, until I settled on the fact that I really hate the bronze belt.

This dress already has so much going on with the necklace, the feathers and the embellishments on the dress, the look really didn’t need an extra element to an already fairly busy look.

Do you think she over cooked it?

Emma Watson attended the 2010 National Movie Awards in London last night.

She accepted the “Best Family Film” Award for “Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince” with co-stars Bonnie Wright and Daniel Radcliffe.

You would be forgiven if you thought she was wearing Chanel, but she’s actually wearing a cute tweed Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010 black and white playsuit.

I love that she doesn’t appear to be desperate to grow up, but I guess she still needs to appeal to her young Harry Potter fans.

Her look is kept very simple with a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Miss Butterfly’ bow front sandals.

I’m glad she wore her playsuit without the runway belt.

It been a while since I fell in love with a Gwyneth Paltrow look, but that changed last night at the 2010 National Movie Awards held at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Maybe it’s the wannabe girlie girl in me, but I just love her rose pink Prada dress.

The dress has an interesting overlaid bust detail and a turned up hem, but I didn’t like the green beaded necklace.

Bubblegum pink Christian Louboutin peep-toes and a uber classy updo completed the look.

It’s great to see her move out of her comfort zone.

Gwynie was there to presented Tom Cruise with the “Screen Icon Award”.

If you’re anything like me your Atelier Versace quota was not fulfilled during Cannes Film Festival, so the sight of Tinsley Mortimer should put a smile on your face.

The socialite attended the 32nd Annual American Image Awards at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City last night looking spectacular wearing an Atelier Versace Fall 2009 mini dress.

Her strapless white Atelier cocktail dress has a tiered skirt and a gorgeous white rose detail on the bodice.

Strappy silver sandals and a silver fringed Samantha Thavasa clutch of her own design completes the look.

I’m not so crazy about her hair style, but I love her in this dress.

Tom Cruise had his usual bear-tight grip on wife Katie Holmes as they walked the red carpet at the 2010 National Movie Awards at the Royal Festival Hall in London last night.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen her on the red carpet, but she looked stunning wearing a chevron striped maxi dress from her own Holmes & Yang collection.

The beauty of this look is its simplicity.

Just a simple necklace and flawless make-up complete this BDOTW worthy look.

Katie was there to support Tom who was honored with the “Screen Icon Award”.

A couple of weeks ago I said that Lea Michele was the most stylish of the actresses from “Glee”, but since she’s started go a little OTT with her looks that statement has come back to haunt me.

Her co-star Dianna Agron doesn’t seem to be interested in taking the ‘edgy’ route, as she looked really sophisticated when she arrived at the “FOX Network Uprfronts” event in New York City recently.

The young actress wore a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2010 belted LBD.

I love the zippers and the way she kept her look youthful with cute braids.

Botkier “Alexis” snake sandals completed her look.
