Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: May 2010

The supermodels have been doing there bit to add glamour to the Cannes Film Festival.

Last night Naomi Campbell attended the “de Grisogono Dinner Party” wearing a white L’Wren Scott Spring 2009 feather sequin dress which has been worn by Nicole Kidman (of course).

I adore her necklace, but wish the neckline of her dress had been lower.

At the Chopard party she wears her second Givenchy look at Cannes. This time she opted for a short sassy lace number from the Fall 2010 collection.

I’m loving her peacock feathered Sergio Rossi heels, but not as much as I’m loving the variety of wigs she has.

You shall go to the ball Adriana Karembeu.

The Slovakian model wore the ultimate ballgown to the “Biutiful” premiere this week.

Her Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 gown would have had the photogs reaching for their wide lenses.

I love the medieval princess feel, but I didn’t like her chiffon sleeves. I much prefer the gown as presented on the runway.

Eva Herzigova lives by rule. “If you got it flaunt it”, and that’s what she did at the Chopard party and whilst lounging at the Hotel Martinez Terrace this week.

Her legs go on for miles in these Pucci minis.

I love the white feathered dress, which is open at the back.

Eva was spotted arriving at the Majestic Hotel in Cannes this week wearing yet another mini dress.

Under her pink coat she wore a Dolce & Gabbana Pre-Fall 2010 multi-coloured polka dot dress, with the same Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots she wore to the “The Princess Of Montpensier” Premiere.

Her look was paired with the Dolce & Gabbana’s Miss Sicily bag, which we all know is a huge celebrity favourite.

Actress Fan Bingbing is creating quite a stir at Cannes Film Festival.

She was spotted on the Martinez Terrace during the event this week looking stunning wearing an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2010 dress.

Her pleated dress is accented with a stunning jeweled detail around the neckline and waist.

I think these touches prevent the look from washing her out.

With her glossy raven hair brushed passed her ear, it reveals her stunning silver earrings.

I’m not so fond of her black strapped watch with this look, but I do love her beige pumps.

“Ugly Betty” may have been canceled but Becki Newton has already found her next big project.

She will be starring in “Love Bites” which is a series about dating and relationships.

I was so happy to see Becki back on the red carpet at NBC Universal’s 2010 Upfront presentation of her new project which took place in New York this week.

The stylish star opted to wear a nude top with a Willow nude draped skirt from the Fall 2010 collection.

She paired her look with a black blazer and leopard print Walter Steiger heels.

At first I was disappointed that she wore the blazer, but on reflection the blazer was a great choice as the all over nude may have washed her out.

When I saw the pictures of Rachel Bilson at LAX yesterday I was certain she was heading to Cannes and I was right.

She was spotted on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival “Blue Valentine” premiere after party last night.

Well if Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Camilla Belle can all be a Cannes Film Festival, why not Rachel?

Rachel wore a leopard print Isabel Marant Fall 2009 dress with black YSL heels.

What really grabs my attention is her beautiful bag and the double loop belt, which is becoming a popular look.

Rachel looks nice, but this dress has been worn a few times before. Most notably on Eva Herzigova.

I don’t know about you guys, but had I traveled all that way just to attend this party I would’ve have made more an effort to be noticed.

This is a forgettable look.

Cheryl Cole was the guest of honour at “de Grisogono Dinner Party” during Cannes Festival last night.

She looked breath-taking wearing a Roberto Cavalli black tulle strapless gown whilst dazzling with de Grisogono jewels.

Chezza loves a big gown, but the sleek mermaid gown doesn’t overwhelm her tiny frame.

She knows how to work a red carpet.

STUNNING.

Cheryl wasn’t there just to look pretty.

She was there to perform a 30 minute set of her recent hits.

After her performance she changed into a Julien Macdonald silk dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

The coral twisted pleat georgette dress is so Cheryl.

Cute and a bit daring.

I was expecting to see her wearing this dress during X Factor.

I love she continues to supports the London based designer unlike other Brits at Cannes.

Earlier in the day she was spotted at the Martinez Hotel in Cannes wearing an adorable Alice + Olivia playsuit and cropped jacket.
