Kate Beckinsale brought back the updo, after a brief flirtation with wearing her hair down at Cannes Film Festival this week.

I think the Brit actress knocked it out of the ballpark tonight at the 2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala.

She’s given us some stellar looks, but I think this is my favourite along with her Dior look on the first day.

I love the way her aurora borealis coloured jacquard lamé gown opens on the bodice to reveal those dazzling sequins.

This gown fits her like I glove.  She’s really working it.

Her Sergio Rossi blush satin platform slingbacks were an interesting colour choice, as it appears to work better with the top half of her gown.

Chopard jewels completes her look.
