John Galliano presented his Christian Dior Resort 2011 collection in Shanghai this weekend.
I expected it to be Asian inspired, but it was Parisian chic at it’s finest.
I felt the collection had the same 60s inspired feel as the Resort 2009 collection with the big Barbarella hair, floral prints and ruffles, stripes and pastels.
It maybe too sickly sweet for some, but loved this collection.
The colour palette ranged from mint greens, to baby blues, to punchy peaches to pretty pinks.
The pastel overload and cute ruffled mini dresses will have Tinsley Mortimer going weak at the knees.
I adore the use of fabrics and colours plus the gowns are truly elegant.

Marion Cotillard was of course at the show looking divine wearing a lemon Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2010 dress which had a pink lace trim.
You may remember that Charlize Theron wore runway version of this dress a few week ago.
I just love the knotted detail at the hem.

I really wasn’t impressive by Charlize Theron in this silver mini Dior dress.
I’m still really missing that wow factor from her.
