Earlier I joked that Kate Beckinsale may regress back to her old ways, but she looked stunning at the jury photo call at Cannes Film Festival today.

The “Underworld” actress opted for a plum and rose Christian Dior Fall 2010 ensemble with Brian Atwood nude heels.

I love the look which included a layered chiffon top over a plum bustier which was paired with a pencil skirt.

Very event appropriate, with a nod to her sassy side.

Tim Burton is the president of the judges with the rest of the panel including Benicio del Toro, Giovanna Mezzogiorno and Shekhar Kapur.
