This month the “Style Spotlight” focus is on Bianca Brandolini D’Adda.
The stylish Italian socialite, model and actress has been catching my eye a lot lately, as she has been wearing are a lot of fabulous pieces to many society events.
She is the sister of boho-chic icon Coco Brandolini, daughter of old Valentino muse Georgina Brandolini and she’s a good friend of Giambattista Valli – fashion and style is clearly in her DNA.
In 2008 she was named by American Vogue as one of their ‘Best Dressed of The Year’, and I think she’s doing a pretty good job this year wearing Alberta Ferretti, Valentino Couture, Giambattista Valli, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and many more.
She’s absolutely stunning as well as stylish. Some girls just get all the luck.
Bianca loves ankle boots.
On this occasion she wore a taupe pair with a pink Valentino Spring 2010 Couture biker jacket with neon pink, black and silver stripes.
The jacket is teamed with a leather mini skirt and tights.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli had Bianca in mind when the designed this collection.
She has both the body and attitude to pull off this collection.
Bianca was seated next to Rachel Zoe at the Alberta Ferretti Fall 2010 presentation wearing this peach mini from the Spring 2010 collection.
She used the ribbon which is tied to the side on the model, as a belt on her dress which makes hers look even shorter, but that could just be her very long legs.
Her look was paired with grey suede Fendi ankle boots.
This Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2010 gilet is a chic look for Bianca, despite that fact that you are left wondering what she’s wearing under it.
Workman type boots and tights keep this look on the right side of sexy, as she carries Sofia Coppola Louis Vuitton bag to complete her look.
I love her glossy wavy hair here.
With Giambattista Valli as one of your closest friends, you can get him design a dress especially for you.
I’m surprised Bianca’s version didn’t make the runway as it’s so incredibly cute.
Her strapless bow accented dress with a fringed hem is paired with yellow trim clutch and Fendi heels.
I’m still praying that we get to see this dress on the red carpet, as it was one of my favourites from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2010 collection.
Ankle boots are worn again with this half and half dress with a cute bow tied to the waist.
I would’ve loved to have seen Bianca’s hair back with this look, but long and wavy appears to be her trademark.
Accept on this occasion when Bianca opted for a side-sweeping plait.
Many would’ve lined this Fendi Spring 2010 dress, but when you have the confidence of a socialite and amazing body like a supermodel why not wear it as it was presented on the runway?
I wouldn’t say it was my favourite look, but she sure does pull it off again wearing her favourite grey suede Fendi ankle boots.
Earlier this year Bianca Brandolini D’Adda wore a stunning Giambattista Valli Spring 2009 ruffled gown as she posed as the traditional angel who officially opens the Carnival of Venice each year at the Piazza San Marco.
The brave girl arrived at the event via a crane which may have been easier than trying to fit all those beautiful ruffles into a limousine.
