Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Gwyneth Paltrow graces the cover of the May 2010 American Harper’s Bazaar issue.

The Couture editorial was shot by Alexi Lubomirski.

We see her wearing the same Givenchy Couture dress Ciara wore to the Grammy Awards, plus Armani Privé, Valentino, Christian Dior and Chanel.

In her interview Gwynie talks about juggling work, being a mummy and why she’s been on a steady diet of fried chicken and booze.

You can read the whole interview at Harper’s Bazaar.com.

Here are some extracts from her interview followed by her editorial.

On her work on Iron Man: “Iron Man was heaven. The kids could come every day. They had their mini Jeep that they drove around the parking lot in front of my trailer. I wasn’t naked or crying like on the Nashville movie, where it was like, ‘No, you can’t visit Mommy today.’ This was a much different thing. But professionally, I did feel so ‘Oh, my God, yes, this is what I do. You know, this is me.’” Read more…

Rebecca Hall looked quite formal on the red carpet for “Please Give” premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last night.

Despite the formality of her look the Brit actress still look fabulous wearing a Givenchy Spring 2010 ensemble.

The look consisted of a black sleeveless top with wide white lapels and a tie at the waist plus black pegged pants.

I like that she kept the look clean and that she didn’t try to make it too girlie by over accessorizing.

Rupert Sanderson Estelle cut-out heels and a black Bottega Veneta minaudiere satin clutch completed this clean fresh look.

Rooney Mara is very much the new kid on the block.

The young actress is the star of “A Nightmare On Elm Street” – yes they are still going – which had its LA premiere last night.

For her first major movie premiere she glowed wearing an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 dress.

The crepe pleated ivory dress has an apricot apron like overlay which ties to the waist.

I love the jeweled hair accessory which holds back her enviable thick wavy hair.

The look is perfected with a champagne clutch, nude Louboutin’s, Dana Rebecca ring and a red lips.

A+ for the first time out.

Didn’t Jessica Alba recently cut her hair?

Well a long hair Jessica arrived on the red carpet for the Tribeca Film Festival screening of “The Killer Inside Me” in New York.

The actress opted for a floaty ethereal Chloé Spring 2010 dress.

Her romantic ivory dress with pleated embroidered layers is so beautiful.

The look was complete with statement necklaces, a sculptural gold cuff, tan strappy Marni sandals and a white studded clutch.

I like the way Jessica is mixing things up, going from edgy in Proenza Schouler to boho in Chloé.

On the red carpet Jessica saved Kate from what could have been a very embarrassing moment as a gush of wind caught Kate’s skirt.

Jess deserves a spot on the BDOTW poll.

Kate Hudson arrived wearing a poncho to the Tribeca Film Festival screening of “The Killer Inside Me” in New York.

I literally recoiled in horror when I saw Kate wearing this black and white striped Louis Vuitton poncho.

It really has no place on the red carpet.

Thankfully her stunning gold clutch is beautiful enough to distract me.

Things got a little better when Kate removed the poncho to reveal a Louis Vuitton LBD.

I just wish the dress had a lower neckline.

I love the open back, but the turtle neck feels so uptight for a red carpet look, especially for someone like Kate.

Not liking either look in conclusion. The twinkle in her eye is not reflected in her look.

And whoever did her hair and make-up needs to go back to beauty school.

Tragic.

On the plus side her Brian Atwood ‘Alix’ pumps are fab.
