Red Carpet Fashion Awards

It seems like Taylor Swift couldn’t keep away from the sequins for too long.

The singer rocked the stage for “Brooks & Dunn The Last Rodeo Show” last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wearing a Jenny Packham mini dress Taylor performed a solo song and joined other country musicians for another song.

Her trademark curls returned for this event as Swift sparkled in a purple sequin beaded slip dress, which she wore with black knee high boots.

I gotta say I really like this look, minus those boots of course.

The concert will air on May 23 on CBS.

Jennifer Lopez continues to promote her movie “The Backup Plan”.

Today she appeared on CBS The Early Show.

Jennifer supported up and coming designers Sachin + Babi, by wearing a dress from their Fall 2010 collection.

The sleeveless two tone dress has beaded stripes which you can see gently sparkle.

The mustard skirt with a draped piece is slightly longer than the runway look, but we all know Jennifer is not shy about showing off her toned legs.

I’m glad she opted to wear this beautiful dress without the collar, as it would have look costumey on Jen.

With her hair tightly pulled back, Jen completed her look with the very popular Sergio Rossi pumps.

Demi Moore wore this same dress with the collar for her interview with the NY Times.

Amanda Seyfried attended the “Mother and Child” LA premiere last night.

The “Dear John” actress wore a Bodyamr Fall 2010 dress.

Unfortunately no one informed her that the printed silk dress with an exposed zipper was actually back to front.

When Angelina Jolie wore her Max Azria gown back to front at the 2009 SAG Awards, it wasn’t that obvious.

This is smacking me right in the face that it’s the wrong way around, especially considering where the zipper stops.

We ask for celebs to be more inventive on the red carpet, but this isn’t what I had in mind.

How do you like it?

The right way around, or back to front?

This weekend was an amazing weekend for Tadashi Shoji as he dress many stars with his Spring 2010 collection.

Amber Riley was first up when she walked the carpet at the 8th Annual TV Land Awards on Saturday.

The “Glee” actress and singer wore an emerald green silk chiffon pleated one shoulder dress with frayed chiffon strap.

Her look was paired with gold strappy sandals.

Meghan Linsey also selected Tadashi Shoji to dress her for the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night.

The “Steel Magnolia” singer looked beautiful in a nude silk chiffon strapless gown with a pleated bodice.

I love her ruffled skirt and the cute black satin ribbon tied to her waist.

Miranda Lambert accepted her ‘Album of the Year Award’ at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards also wearing a Tadashi Shoji gown.

The blonde beauty looked like a Grecian goddess in a cream silk chiffon one shoulder draped bodice gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

It seems like Tadashi has a knack for dressing winners, as he also dressed Best Actress Oscar winner Mo’Nique.

Yesterday Jessica Simpson was spotted leaving JFK airport as she attempted to trick photographers by leaving through a secret exit.

I gotta say I was really surprised to see her wearing a Dries Van Noten chain print top which we saw presented as a dress in the Spring 2010 collection.

Hopefully I don’t sound too snobby when I say that I’m surprised she was aware of the brand, but then one doesn’t need to be aware of a brand to purchase a piece from it.

I really love this print and simply adored this collection, but I hate how Jessica has styled it.

She’s worn the Dries Van Noten shirt over a grey tank dress, which she paired with black gladiators and a Dior quilted bag.

Travesty.
