Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: April 2010

Demi Moore looked super sexy as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre for an appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman” to promote her new movie “The Joneses”, and of course talk about Twitter.

She made Letterman’s dreams come true when she sat on his lap to take a photo with him, so she could Tweet it during the show.

The 47 year old actress defied her years by wearing an Oscar de la Renta mini dress.

The purple printed fitted dress is covered with paillette’s to create a mosaic effect.

Her long bronze legs were accentuated by wearing a pair of gold Brian Atwood platform heels.

Love her or hate her, she looks ridiculously hot here.

Victoria Beckham graces the cover of Vogue Germany’s May 2010 issue.

Those of you who have been following VB since time began, will recognise her trademark pose on the cover.

Trademark pose aside, her editorial shot by Alexi Lubomirski shows a different side to VB.

It’s gritty, not as prim and polished as we expect from VB.

We see her wearing Dolce & Gabbana, Luisa Beccaria, RM by Roland Mouret, Dennis Basso and of course a dress from her own collection in her editorial.

The issue is dedicated to jeans, so Victoria (who has her own denim line) spoke to Vogue about the secret to perfect-fit jeans.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On fashion being her passion: “My true passion belongs the fashion. I fulfilled a life long dream by staring my own label. It’s my baby. Although I’m now in my fourth seasons, I always feel nervous before and during the show. As a Spice Girl I could hide behind the other 4 girls, during my presentations I’m totally responsible”. Kelly Ripa arrived at “The Point Foundation’s 3rd Annual Point Honors New York Gala” this week wearing a red and grey Donna Karan Spring 2010 dress.

The dress looks so chic on the runway, but it quickly loses it’s appeal on Kelly.

She has a great figure and we all know how stylish she is, but to me she looks like Mrs Santa.

I’m not particular taken by her hairstyle with this look either.

She matched her grey Fendi suede and tulle sandals well though.

This has to be my least favourite look from Kelly.

US TV host Rachel Ray looked beautiful as she arrived at the 8th Annual Can-Do Awards Dinner held at Abigail Kirsch’s Pier Sixty at Chelsea Pier in New York last night.

The presenter wore a Stella McCartney pleated rose print dress from the Spring 2010 collection which I really love.

I usually prefer Rachel in more fitted silhouette’s, but I think this type of dress is perfect of a spring time event.

At first I couldn’t figure out what I didn’t like about this look, then I realised it wasn’t the dress – it was Rachel’s hair and necklace.

They both make her neck disappear.

Kerry Washington looked fabulous as she walked the red carpet at the “Mother and Child” LA Premiere this week.

Unlike Amanda Seyfried, Kerry wore her J. Mendel dress the right way around.

Her abstract print draped dress with bell sleeve worked perfectly with her golden clutch and Sergio Rossi pumps.

She added a touch of sparkle to her look with a Amrapali ring.

As always her hair and make-up are flawless.

It’s nice to see celebrities are starting to embrace another shoe designer. We are seeing less Trib Two’s and more Sergio Rossi’s.
