Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: April 2010

Actress Zoe Kravitz was recently named by Harper Bazaar as one of the 10 Rising Style Stars of 2010.

She didn’t let that accolade count for nothing, as she looked beautiful arriving at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of “Beware The Gonzo” in New York City last night.

When we think of Zoe we think of a boho or vintage style, but neither made an appearance on this red carpet.

She was fashion forward wearing a Zac Posen Fall 2010 dress.

I love her strapless cocktail copper dress. I actually think she looks better in this dress than the model.

On Zoe the detail on the shoulder is longer, which I prefer plus the skirt is not asymmetrical like on the runway.

I love her sexy updo and those black strappy sandals she paired with her dress.

She does indeed have great style.

Hayden Panettiere showed off her newly cropped ‘do as she walked the red carpet at the Global Home Tree Earth Day reception, hosted by “Avatar” director James Cameron in LA last night.

It most be the season for getting the chop, as Renee Zellweger also sported a new shorter style on the red carpet last night.

Hayden walked the red carpet with her beau Vladimir Klitschko wearing an Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2010 LBD.

The Pucci mini has been modified from the dress presented as Hayden’s dress has less sequins, blue sequins and a slightly different pattern of sequins.

She paired with tights, a silver clutch and black pumps.

Although her look is very dark, the new do has brighten up her face.

Yay or nay on Hayden’s new haircut?

Jennifer Lopez arrived at the “Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Issue Event” in LA last night with her sexy face.

The mother of twins pouted and gave us her trademark ‘come hither’ look all the way down the red carpet.

At first I loved her nude Georges Chakra Spring 2010 Couture dress, but on closer inspection I’ve gone from love to like.

I don’t mind that she stole the innocence of this Chantilly lace dress by making it sexy, but I just wish she’d pulled down the Swarovski crystal cage corset.

At present it make her twins look very suffocated and uncomfortable, plus I can see her bra in the close up.

This is definitely not a dress one wears with a push-up bra.

Jennifer was going for sexy and that she surely pulls that off as she paired her dress with matching heels and a gold clutch.

Victoria Beckham was flying the Union Jack at the Brit Week charity event in LA last night.

The fashion designer took a night off wearing one of her dresses from her coveted collection to wow on the red carpet wearing a black tuxedo sans bra and shirt.

Some of you have expressed that you find this type of look tacky, but I think if you carry yourself well it can look absolutely stunning like it does on VB.

I like the satin lapels and the satin strip on her pants, but I don’t like the way she’s rolled up her pants. I wish she had tailored them to fit.

Victoria wore her black suit with black satin Brian Atwood heels, and a rather large blue ring.

Seeing her on GMTV this morning I will say that the pictures aren’t really doing her much justice.

Renee Zellweger and Forest Whitaker walked the red carpet on Thursday night for a Tribeca Film Festival premiere of their new movie, “My Own Love Song.”

Renee was glowing wearing a midnight blue Vera Wang dress.

I love the skirt which has voluminous tiers projecting an extraordinarily interesting shape.

From the back you can see the black sash around her waist is tied into a bow.

Renee has finally done something new with her hair. Although I’m not crazy about the style, I do like how it no longer appears wispy as it frames her face.

Fred Leighton jewels and beige Christian Louboutin heels complete the look.

The last time saw Renee on the red carpet she was wearing Vera Wang.

Could she be the designers new muse? Has she kicked Carolina Herrera to the curb?

Time will tell.

Kerry Katona was seen all over the British press on Wednesday wearing this stunning Karen Millen sequin bow accented dress to the Birthday Party for OK! Magazine Editor in Chief Lisa Byrne at Flemings Hotel in London.

What was the big deal?

The big deal was that this is the best that Kerry ‘car crash’ Katona has looked in a very long while.

Scratch that.

This is the best she’s ever looked.

She paired her dress with the matching Karen Millen sequin bow peep toes and matching clutch to complete her look.

Faryl Smith arrived at the launch for ‘Serenata 2010′ in London yesterday wearing the same dress.

This was either a total coincidence, or a clever PR move by the teenage classical singer. Either way she also looks great in the Karen Millen dress.

I have to give this to Kerry because she’s battled her demons, finally got rid of that useless husband of hers and come out looking absolutely matchy matchy fantastic.

The Karen Millen dress and shoes are available to purchase from Karen Millen and ASOS.
