Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: April 2010

Naomi Watts sported a head-to-toe Stella McCartney look when she walked the red carpet at the “Mother and Child” New York premiere last night.

Her look consisted of a in a black silk jumpsuit with lace cut outs similar to a look presented in the Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

The jumpsuit was paired with black Stella McCartney pumps and black perforated Stella McCartney clutch.

I’m not particularly crazy about his look. It needs something other than the lace inserts to grab my attention fully.

I don’t like the elasticated pants and I much prefer the version of this look on the model.

It’s been like forever since we last saw Kirsten Dunst on the red carpet.

She flashed a confident smile at the Tribeca Film Festival for the movie “Between the Lines”, which she wrote, produced and directed.

Her Nina Ricci floral dress was bursting with spring time freshness, but yet again for the umpteenth time today I’m bitterly disappointed with the heels.

Whoever makes black pumps in Hollywood must make a killing.

Gladiators, strappy sandals, hell even flip flops would’ve been preferred to those black pumps.

Back to the dress. She looks beautiful.

I love the pleats and the slightly voluminous sleeves.

The red carpet for the “Iron Man 2″ premiere was full of stars including Michelle Monaghan.

The “Gone Baby Gone” actress opted for a show stopping Derek Lam bow knot bustier dress from the Resort 2010 collection.

The strapless dress with oversized bow detail would’ve looked so much better had she pulled her hair back into a really tight ponytail.

I love the look on the model.

Whilst I wish Michelle had taken hairstyling direction from the model, I wish she hadn’t copied the footwear.

It looks cheeky on the model, but it doesn’t translate on the red carpet.

On Michelle the Derek Lam yellow satin and black laced shoes just look like she ran out of options.
