Two things are guaranteed at a Country Music event.

1. Carrie Underwood will attend.
2. Carrie Underwood will wear a Lebanese designer.

The Country singer who is up for many awards at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards tonight, looked stunning as she walked the red carpet.

I adore her buttercup Basil Soda Spring 2010 Couture cocktail dress.

I love the contrast between the top and the bottom half.

The top has sleek satin layers which is held together with an embellished strap to create a ruffled effect on her shoulder.

The skirt has a swirling pattern all over as it drapes from the waist.

Her look was paired with moss green Rene Caovilla ankle strap heels and a black studded Swarovski clutch.

Carrie would have got a 10 out of 10 for this look had it not been for the clutch.

I really dislike it because it doesn’t work with the rest of her look.
