Olivia Palermo was one of many socialites to attend the “7th Annual New Yorkers for Children Spring Dinner Dance” held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York last night.
I’ve really started to take notice and appreciate Olivia’s style lately, but I’m a bit disappointed with this look.
I love Tia Cibani’s designs for Ports 1961. Her presentations are always visually spectacular, but Olivia drowns in this gown.
The high asymmetrical neckline overwhelms her imo.
I love that she didn’t go wear an obvious designer and that she supported the Ports 1961 label – who may not be that well known outside the US – but I’m not crazy about this dress on her.
It would suit someone much taller.
I do appreciate that she opted for a stand out clutch though.
Do you think she pulled it off?
