Best Dressed Award
Selena Gomez brought out the sun on the orange carpet at the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards yesterday.
She was my Best Dressed of the night wearing a yellow Christian Cota chiffon dress with gold beaded belt detail from the designers red carpet capsule collection.
I’ve been campaigning long and hard for Selena to wear something more youthful and this dress was the perfect choice for the teen actress.
It’s not a gown, it colourful, youthful and most importantly age appropriate. I’m glad she’s back to having fun with fashion again.
Her look was paired with Sergio Rossi Girandola Bis gladiator sandals, a Lauren Merkin oval gold clutch and Ippolita jewels.

love, love, LOVE this outfit! Cant remember the last time Selena looked this good. The only thing I dont like is the hair… probably because this is the hairstyle I wear to school if Im having a bad hair day!
But since the rest of the outfit looks so good and since she avoided black accessories like most teens would have gone with, Im gonna let the hair slide!

Love the shoes, best part of the look. I don’t really like the dress that much, I think it’s the yellow. I think it’s very hard to look good in yellow and It does not wow me on her.

I love everything about her look except the hair. But, as someone else said, she looks so great that I’ll let that pass. Definitely the best dressed so far (I haven’t seen all the pictures yet, LOL).
I loved this look! It was cute and event appropriate. I thought her hair fit the whole event. It’s the KCAs, she doesn’t need anything dramatic. Plus, it was a nice change of her usual straight/curly/bun style. The shoes are perfect and not too dramatic for such a youthful look.
