Nice Dress, Shame About Those Bangs Award
Katy Perry walked the orange carpet at the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards wearing a very familiar corset dress.
The dress was designed by The Blonds who produce these amazing corsets every season.
This season they made it more colourful, and embellishing the rainbow corset with multi-coloured rhinestones.
Katy is a huge fan of their work, having worn one of their corsets to the 2009 Brit Awards.
I love the corset on her and the aqua sparkling Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Lynch Zeppa Strass’ wedges were the perfect complement, but those bangs are shocking.
It’s obviously a cheap weft that has been cut really poorly.
I would’ve been falling over myself in love with this look had it not been for those bangs.

Personally I liked her hairdo at the Vanity Fair Oscar party better.
WHY does she always have a low cut dress on! I think the runway dress should have been altered so she was EITHER showing her boobs or her legs! Both is just too much and I and the vast majority of women out there DONT want to see it!
Does anyone else think this dress was a little bit much for a show that being aired on Nickelodeon? Maybe I’m being prudish, but that seems like a lot of legs and cleavage for a kids show.

I really hate this look, it’s so Vegas showgirl and uninspired. Cher could rock this, but Katy Perry fails so much. And I agree it’s too much for Nickelodeon.

She clearly cut those bangs herself and yes, that look is not appropriate for the KIDS’ choice awards. But that’s Katy for you, I suppose lol.

Best dressed of the night….. I don’t care if it’s revealing…. everyone else played it safe just because it’s on Nickelodeon…. yet Nickelodeon has Spongebob… and you know all of those subliminals he has on his shows…..
Even though I like Katy Perry and her style in general, but this dress (?) looks really cheap. The bangs and shoes are simply horrible. I agree that there’s way too mush of naked body also, especially for ‘kids choice’ event. Yes, she has an AMAZING body, but we all know it, so there’s no need to show SO much of it.

Love the dress. Not on her. Not at this event. Inappropriate. And the dress and wig she wore during the show was even more inappropriate.
Hmmm….if kids can go to the circus and see ladies in sparkly leotards, I don’t see a problem with this outfit. Especially since there’s a long history of sexy looks at this event and every year people are shocked…SHOCKED! But they’re just children, everyone says! Yeah, kids who know where all the good porn is nowadays.
I understand completely. It’s just that she’s so busty. She could have had the dress altered to hold her in better. These pics aren’t that bad but in the video of her walking the carpet, she’s all out there. She’s always so annoyingly intentional with her cleavage.

its terrible, i hate really short fringes its looked like a 3yr old has found a pair of scissors with their colouring in pencils & hacked away at their own hair!
She looks like a sparkly version of Tinkerbell. Not my favorite.

The model looks ten times better. Katy gets a ‘fail’. And is it just me or is she putting on weight? No problem with her filling out, but that dress does not flatter her.
I really love Katy Perry she is just amazing, I would love to see a life concert of her, do you know when there will be a show in Switzerland?
