Abbie Cornish went shorter after breaking up with Ryan Phillippe. Now Jennifer Love Hewitt has followed in her footsteps after breaking up with Jamie Kennedy.
She showed off the shorter, curlier do at the “Esprit Flagship Store Opening” in New York last night.
I must say I love the shorter style. It makes her look younger and brightens up her face. Or maybe she just happy to be single again.
Her sexy look included 3.1 Phillip Lim sequined silk wrap dress, and gold YSL heels.
I think this might be the first time that I actually love what Jennifer is wearing.
I wonder if Kate Winslet will follow the trend and go for the chop.

While I like the dress on its own, and I love the color way on her, I do not like how it broadens Hewitt’s waist. And while I do not object to her shorter hair I think the styling is wrong – she looks middle-aged and perhaps would be better served by a sleeker ‘do, potentially with fringe, for a more youthful look. The heels are darling.
