Esprit Flagship Store Opening – Jennifer Love Hewitt In 3.1 Phillip Lim

It seems the ‘in thing’ to do when celebs split from their loved ones it to cut their flowing tresses.

Abbie Cornish went shorter after breaking up with Ryan Phillippe. Now Jennifer Love Hewitt has followed in her footsteps after breaking up with Jamie Kennedy.

She showed off the shorter, curlier do at the “Esprit Flagship Store Opening” in New York last night.

I must say I love the shorter style.  It makes her look younger and brightens up her face.  Or maybe she just happy to be single again.

Her sexy look included 3.1 Phillip Lim sequined silk wrap dress, and gold YSL heels.

I think this might be the first time that I actually love what Jennifer is wearing.

I wonder if Kate Winslet will follow the trend and go for the chop.

Something about her hair is off, It seems like her face is longer, I actually don’t like it, but I do like the outfit

I was going to say that I think this look ages her by about 10 years, at least.

    Sweet baby Jesus!
She looks like a lion in drag!

I really liked her hair when I saw it the other day, I just don’t care for how it is styled here. Love the dress on her though.

I think her hair would look beautiful if it was sleek and straight. The whole 70’s thing just isn’t working for me

And I secretly do hope Kate Winslet cuts her hair, I think a chic bob would look amazing on her.

I like the short hair, but not the way that it’s style now. I love her dress. She looks great.

Huh? I think she looks over 40 here! That dress and that hair, its like she’s channeling Terri Hatcher. Really dont like this look at all.

I really like her dress and heel

  13. Leelah March 25, 2010 at 11:48 #

I think she looks gorgeous, her hair isn’t flattering because she has a long face but she looks cute regardless

She needs to part her hair on the side. Parting it in the middle ages her significantly.

It’s a disco nightmare. Donna Summer on a bad night on Studio 54.

While I like the dress on its own, and I love the color way on her, I do not like how it broadens Hewitt’s waist. And while I do not object to her shorter hair I think the styling is wrong – she looks middle-aged and perhaps would be better served by a sleeker ‘do, potentially with fringe, for a more youthful look. The heels are darling.
