Actress Lucy Liu appeared on “Good Day NY” this week to talk about her latest role in the Broadway show “God of Carnage”.
Lucy also has an upcoming movie coming out called “East Fifth Bliss”, so hopefully we will get to see more of her on the red carpet.
The star looked as stunning as ever wearing a Max Azria Resort 2010 watercolour dress with an asymmetrical neckline,
Camilla Belle wore the green version of this dress last year.
I much prefer this version as it has a fresh spring feel to it.
That feeling continues right down to her Miu Miu cutout sandals.
Does anyone agree that this should be BDOTW?
I’m asking because I tend to be biased towards Lucy as she’s one of my faves.

a flawless look deserved BDOTW status, and this ;look and Lucy Liu (ninety percent of the time) are flawless
Stunning and fresh Lucy Liu again! I totally agree with you, BDOTW in my eyes.
It’s only Tuesday. lol
I think she looks stunning as always, but until Friday I think there will be more beautiful looks. She just doesn’t have a wow factor to the outfit. Just pretty.
Now Donatella from the bost below is something Best Dressed list would love
She drowns in this look.
The pattern with the detail is just too much for a woman of her height.
And the shoes are way to heavy for this look.
agreed
Ditto about the dress..
Don’t mind the shoes though
the design of the dress is so bad that even the gorgeous lucy liu couldn’t salvage it.
her Bill Blass ruffles dress is still my favorite look on her.
those shoes are amazing, but the shape/fit of the dress seems… a little off. she looks so pretty though!
not anything special. it fits funny…
Lucy here is definitely a BDOTW contender in my opinion. The green version on Camilla looked really great, too. (Side comment – Camilla is quite a dresser, but she hasn’t shown us anything other than her natural beauty. She seems as 2-D as the pretty girls in Japanese comics.)
I love your side comment, this 2 D feeling I also sometimes get with pretty girls. Lucy, on the other hand, seems to go for something beyond that and I like it, agreed she is a definite BDOTW contender.
BDOTW only from the neck up! She is super pretty, w/great hair. Yet, the dress makes her look shapeless… or rather boxy. I also agree w/Gaber, the shoes are way too heavy for the dress.
I think she looks abso stunning! Def BDOTW worthy!
I love the little pop of red nail polish, I think it really completes the look.
I don’t like the shoes. Lucy’s dress is prettier than the runway look. I love that print.
The sandals are perfect. Chunky enough to add edge to the dress and hair, soft enough not to distract from it. Gorgeous
Totally BDOTW contender for the moment, though the week has started strongly…
I’d love to see another pick, though, ’cause it’s hard to appreciate the drappings and foldings of the dress… :S
I disagree, to me the look is nothing special.
BDOTW contender for sure.. i agree with u FC
I do agree she looks beautiful, but I strongly think that she should not be featured in BDOTW.
She looks beautiful, but its nothing so out of ordinary.
Not BDOTW worthy please give someone else like Donetella a chance at BDOTW.
I love prints, but this dress looks better as a solid color. It’s busy enough with the ruffles. Ruffles PLUS print make her drown in it.
