BDOTW just became impossible.
I needed to do a separate post for Sarah Jessica Parker at the closing ceremony because she left me breathless.
The Sex And The City actress looks outstanding in this Marchesa Fall 2010 shooting stars mini dress.
At the Fall 2010 Marchesa presentation I imagined this dress on someone like Selena Gomez, but SJP injects that cute sweet personality this dress needs. This mini is not about being sexy.
The actress wore her dress with black patent pumps, which surprisingly don’t upset me, but that’s maybe because the model wore this dress with ankle boots so the pumps are an upgrade.

I totally agree. Isn’t it nice to see someone who not only puts the outfit together right, but stands up straight and smiles? Only downside is that I know I’m going to have to choose between two SJP’s for BDOTW!

Hair, accessories, everything’s perfect – I feel like this shouldn’t work on someone her age, but it absolutely does. I feel like something so ‘cute’ and sparkley shouldn’t please my aesthetic, but it does. SPJ is burning it up this week, another BDOTW contender.

I really tried to like it but I couldn’t. I mean there is nothing wrong with it, but I wasn’t impressed by it either.

i adore the dress but for some intangible reason i dont like it on her either .*kanyeshrug* maybe it is her hair it just looks sloppy, like it not quite loose enough.

Wow I love her in this dress, she looks beautiful and natural, love the hair and makeup too. The dress has a hint of McQueen (yellow & black) on the top that Drew Barrymore wore once, but I like that effect so it’s a good thing. SJP totally owns this look, she’s the best!

For a second time in a week she works the dress better than the model. And OMG black pumps that are not boring! I slightly prefered the Lanvin look, though. The yellow is gorgeous.
