“Remember Me” UK Premiere – Emilie de Ravin In Oscar de la Renta

Tonight in London Emilie de Ravin joined British actor Robert Pattinson on the red carpet for the UK premiere of “Remember Me”.

The blonde actress wore a very cute Oscar de la Renta Spring 2010 dress.

Her black lace cap sleeve dress has a cute bow detail on the waist and a pleated skirt with organza appliqué details embroidered onto it.

It was a good idea to wear a black vest under her dress.

The skirt of Emilie’s dress is about 3 inches shorter than the runway version which I like, but the shorter dress deserved a daintier heel.

Her Brian Atwood studded ‘Loca’ pumps are gorgeous, but for me they are not right for this dress.

The strappy runway heels would’ve been perfect.

I love the dress! I like her shorter version better. I agree with you on though shoes though. Gorgeous but strappy would’ve been better.

I really like this look, and I prefer it shorter as well! you’re right about the shoes, but it could have been worse i guess, if she had worn simple black pumps…

    beautiful

Love it. I agree about the shoes, but I still like them and I think they work, still.

I don’t like the dress, at all. The shoes are amazing though

I love all of it. Those shoes are pretty sweet, and since they aren’t just plain black, it doesn’t bother me at all. I think Emilie looks absolutely amazing here :)

What is it with Hollywood and not being able to find the perfect shoes to match their perfect dress??

      That baffles me too.

The stylist need to take a trip to Milan and check out the showrooms.

Claire! She looks amazing! Agreed sort of about the shoes but I’m not dying over it.

I love the shoes and the dress. I just don’t think that I like her in it. The hair is a bit of a miss for me as well.

You can’t go wrong with Oscar de la Renta! Supposedly, he still hand sketches his fashions himself.. a sadly dying fashion art!

yep.. just what i thought.. shoes all wrong to go along well with the dress. in fact, the shoes carry her, she cannot carry the shoes. sorry…..

the dress looks better on the moel by far. it looks a bit boring on emilie and the the original length was better

I wish she’d worn strappy heels

I much prefer her NY look, she looked like a little lovely fairy with that dress but this is pretty as well. The only thing that “bothers” me a little is the vest: maybe it’s the shape or I don’t know but there’s something going on there that I don’t like. The shoes, make-up and hair are perfect for me.

I love the dress, but without the ruffle at the bottom it reminds me of a Forever21 dress.

I remember when this collection was presented people were gushing over that dress. And I’m sorry, but I don’t find Emilie to have enough of a red carpet impact to make this memorable. Sadly.
