Finally Award
Gabourey Sidibe walked the red carpet at the 2010 Film Independent Spirits Awards.
I haven’t particular like many of Gabourey’s red carpet looks.
On this occasion she wears a nice black dress with a pleated satin bodice.
I don’t believe her arms are her best feature and on this occasion she wears a black cropped cardigan.

It seems, even though not a gown, to be too fancy in relation to the other looks at this event. Maybe if she had chosen it in a lighter, less formal color, it would have worked better. I do like the fit and the addition of the cropped cardigan so in that sense, it is the best i’ve seen her.
I am bored. She is too cute for this. it is just dull. Her lovely uniqueness shouldn’t leave her immune to fashion criticism.
It must be hard, though, trying to find dresses and arrange fittings when you’re her size. I am impressed by how she chooses more conservative lengths and necklines but I don’t think she’ll be a red carpet stand out anytime soon just based on the fact that she doesn’t have that many options.
