Julianna Margulies attended the 2010 Miscast event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this week.
The actress opted for a look from L’Wren Scott’s Fall 2010 collection.
The look consisted of a light grey wool shift dress, paired with a grey & silver sequins cardigan and grey lace ruffle scarf.
I do love this look mostly because Julianna wears a lot of black and this is very refreshing for me.
I’m on the fence about the lace ruffle scarf.
It feels a bit unnecessary, but without it this look may have been very plain as the scarf adds a bit of texture.
Her look is teamed with a pair of Jimmy Choo Keenan sandals.

I love it and I love the scarf. The way she has styled it really gives the look more interest
This is such a good colour on her, framed by her dark hair. She looks really confident in it.
Who was your Best Dressed of the week FC?
The shoes really don’t work, needs a higher narrow heel and the skirt needs to be shorter to make her legs look longer. She has the perfect complexion for this but it didn’t work proportionately.
Not hugely inspiring look but polished, such a shame she just lets that polish down by wearing it just a little too tight.
My pet peeve of the red carpet, my black tights if you will are bad cuts and fits. The rippling of a too tight dress is one example..
polished and chic. but i wish l’wren scott’s designs weren’t so sausage-skin tight. i think this would be more flattering if it was a tad looser. not boxy, buy skimming the body instead of strangling it
couldn’t agree more-she looks like she has a beer belly and not very nice around the pelvic area-is there a polite term for this part?
I agree, its too tight and not very flattering.
She looks great for the most part, but I have to agree with e and LeeAnn…it is a little too tight. A dress should not have rolls in it like that when you are standing. If it does, go up a size!
I really wish Julianna would wear color more often. She looks great in really saturated colors.
dont like ‘em
I love the way she looks in this outfit, although I agree that the skirt could be a bit shorter and the shoes a bit strappier. The ruffled scarf seems a better choice for her than the high collar on the runway version. She should wear this color more often – stunning.
Me No Likey it just looks to old on her
I think the colour washes her out. And I don’t like the footwear choice.
I love the dress, but there is something off with the footwear choice i agree
Now that’s cute. Never thought I’d say those words for L’Wren Scott.
