Giorgio Armani’s Fall 2010 presentation was described in the program notes as “The New Chic”.
Models glided down the runway wearing chic fringed Berets, but that’s wasn’t what caught my eye. I loved the curved shape many of the pieces had incorporated into their design.
The colour palette was a surprising mix of orange, pinks and reds which would brighten up a cold winter day.
Not only did the models wear these vivid colours, but the runway lit up with these colours as well.
We were presented with snake skin jackets, chic short suits as well as velvet pant suits and hand-beaded cocktail dress.
The prints were interesting especially the silk print skirt above paired with a fluffy orange jacket.
Model also walked the runway in 2s and in some cases 3s.
A large round of applause was heard when the models in the long black velvet gowns walked the runway.
I’m sure Rachel Zoe in the front row was noting which looks got the loudest applause, as she was no doubting selecting for Oscar night.
An interview with Twilight star Ashley Greene appears at the end of this video.
