Runway To 41st NAACP Image Awards – Garcelle Beauvais In Pamella Roland

Most Casual Award
Garcelle Beauvais arrived at the 41st NAACP Image Awards looking very casual in comparison to everyone else.

She opted for a Pamella Roland Spring 2009 cobalt blue one shoulder dress with sash tied to the waist.

Although the look is casual, it not too casual to say she didn’t make an effort.

With a beautiful face like Garcelle’s, she can get away with wearing just about anything.

The actress paired her look with a silver Jimmy Choo Private sandals.

Is that cotton? Looks like a dress you’d wear to the family barbeque after church on sunday.. cue the linen kentucky derby horse race hat and we will have a full on sunday ensemble!

Is the runway version made of a different fabric than the one worn by Garcelle? It looks much less casual to me, but maybe it’s the color and the silver sandals. While Beauvais does look beautiful, I agree that her dress looks much more suited to a summer picnic.
