Best Use Of Colour Award
Nicola Roberts provided the much needed pop of colour on the red carpet at the 2010 Elle Style Awards last night.
The Girls Aloud singer told me that she was wearing an ensemble from Vanessa Bruno’s Spring 2010 collection, which I initially thought was a long sleeved playsuit.
Under her pink blazer she was wearing a very visible nude bra, but I would’ve preferred that over a simple white tee.
It looks like she was inspired by Audrey Tautou’s BAFTA look, because Nicola paired her bubblegum pink ensemble with a red clutch.
Unfortunately that were the inspiration ended because Nicola let herself down with unimaginative black sandals.
What a way to drag down a fab look.

yep, i loved everything till i saw the black shoes…it so does not match.
i love everything else though. the colour is gorgeous against her skin and the hair as well!
I agree with you, the black sandals really ruined the look.
When will they ever learn… sigh
normally i love most of the things she wears, but this not so much. i dont like the shoes, and the red clutch, really a red clutch with a pink outfit????? maybe im the only one who finds that a strange combination.
gold strappy sandals would have looked fab with this.
I love this color, love this suit on her. But she ruined it with the shoe choice.
Ahh.. this outfit had so much potential.!
I love the shoes with this outfit. But, as usual, I am in the minority. Everyone is bagging on the shoes, but I don’t like her hair.
