Trudie Styler walked the red carpet sans Sting tonight at the 2010 BAFTAs.
She was wearing a black Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 dress with Prada shoes which got a universal thumbs down from the fashion pit.
This look didn’t work for me as Trudie is more colourful than this, plus the birds nest on her head didn’t quite work with her cute mini dress.
She said she picked the dress herself because she wanted to wear a British designer and she also praised Victoria Beckham for making such amazing clothes.
She also said that so many people are wearing VB right now, which got me thinking does she really a love this VB dress or was she jumping on the bandwagon?

i didn’t think a VB could like this … unstructured. this look is totally off and she dosen’t do this fabulous drees ANY justice!
major mess. personally i think she is just jumping on the bandwagon.
victoria’s dress is too boring for red carpet in my opinion, this is a dress for office, it’s ok for screenings or some casual red carpet but for big red carpet it is a miss… and i won’t even go to comment nest on the head and the rest.

I love, love, love this dress so it’s always a treat to see it, but unfortunately, Trudy just makes it – and herself – look old.
I believe Jennifer Hudson wore the same dress @ the Grammys in LA a few weeks ago. She looked good!

This dress is not meant for this formal event. Love the dress. Hair ruin the look. I am so upset with that hair stylist. The dress is very structured so you would think the hair would follow suit.
i very much disagree with the comment about structured hair, er yep if your 25 or want to make her look like joan rivers!!! clearly the hair is soft, youthful and flattering the dress should have been too….
She should not wear black. Also, we’ve seen this dress about ten times in the past few months. Don’t people think about that? Big no.
It’s a VB, expect nothing but perfection. She however, ruined it.
the runway version looks so much better around the waist. i like that the fabric doesn’t split open as much as the one trudie is wearing.
