When Anna Kendrick arrived on the 2010 BAFTAs red carpet I was glad she decided to walk straight passed the Fashion Pit because I would have only had a few words for her.
“Me No Likey.”
Where was the drop dead gorgeous gown I was expecting from her?
Why was she wearing a cocktail dress? Save this for the Grammy’s or MTV Music/Movie Awards please.
Why was her Emilio Pucci mini so shapeless, and why does it have an illusion insert going down the sides?
Major disappointment for me, but her gold Jimmy Choo’s were cute though as was the gold detailing on the dress.

The dress could be much better if it was more tight.

I really dislike this dress. It reminds me of pleated window shades. And the nude sides are really silly.

I love the color of her dress. I’m so happy she wore something colored instead of her usual off white dresses and gowns. I love the details (stitching? embroidery?) on her dress. However, I do wish she had worn something a bit more glamorous…a gown. She is nominated after all, so should be no problem going all out. As to the fit of her dress, it would have been better if it was more fitted as she looks shapeless in this. Overall, I think this was an ok look. I love her shoes, makeup, and hair; and she looks cute as always. I would really really hope to be blown away by her at the Oscars.

I really like it, thought it was McQueen with the embroidery, she looked like a very glamorous ruffled lamp! I just wish she’d smiled a bit more.
I love the color of the dress and her hair and makeup, but mostly it’s a big “Oh No!” from me.
I don’t like the hair and the colour and the looseness of the dress. There is always something slightly off with her, but I’m not quite sure what it is. She’s a little too frou-frou for me, for one thing, but some may say she’s very ladylike. Remember that giant Marchesa dress she wore to a big awards show? I think she wears things that are either too big, or they fit her but overwhelm her, or she dresses slightly matronly.
I think if the fit were better we might all be more enthusiastic. At very first glance, I thought hooray – she’s using some color! But then I started looking, and it just doesn’t flatter her – mostly a fit isue. The illusion panels, though, are total horror show. I agree – why???? This is not a dress that should be stripper-fied.
the dress needs a better fit on her. it just….sags. the colour is lovely and i love her hair/ makeup/ shoes. shame about the dress! anna also doesnt look 5’4….she looks far more petite.
I think the dress did nothing for Anna poor Duncan when interviewing her had to say it was lovely, i think it did her no favours whatsoever!

i really dont like ana kendrick on this red carpet, she was doing so well i dont hate the dress i think is cute but is more vma or grammy than the bafta
if she really wanted to wear a short dress why she didnt chose a dress from elie saab or armani prive those dresses would look amazing on her i hope she wowed us at the oscars
