The models in Vera Wang’s Fall 2010 presentation all sported Snooki style beehives. Who knew Snooki would start a trend.
The other thing that dawned on me was the familiarity of some of the pieces. Lanvin sprang to mind.
“The Bride Wore Black” was the title of this collection, and she wore a lot of it. There were also touches of petrol blue and ivory.
Wang was inspired by film noir as “a contemporary metaphor for youth, romance, and sophistication.”
The collection had sleek silhouettes, sporting underpinnings and ultra feminine elements which pleased the crowd.
I particularly liked the cute mini dresses especially the ones with the fairy like tulle skirts.

lol at the snooki beehives, please dont tell me you watch that show? it looks so tragic.
love this collection, especially that little mini dress you have shown on the right.
oh hell no…rather stick pins in my eyes
…I’m quite certain you wouldn’t!
Having pins in your eyes seems terrible to me..
Boring collection, in my opinion. Strangely, the only thing I like is the beehive, which I don’t relate to Snooki (thank God, here in Italy they haven’t aired that show yet), but to the Sixties, Sofia Loren and Brigitte Bardot.
I do like petrol blue with black, but that’s about it with this collection.
I’d love to see the last dress on Emma Watson. Without those tights of course.
