Badgley Mischka’s Fall 2010 presentation was split into two parts – Badgley Mischka and Mark & James.

The first part was heavenly as it was full of gorgeous Oscar worthy gowns and dresses which the duo are well known for.

They included a number of sequined cocktail dresses and gowns, a stand out blue one-shoulder gown and a gold strapless lurex gown.

There was a sharp intake of breathe as Arlenis walked the runway wearing claret and Bordeaux one-shoulder gown which sparkled in the dimly light tent, but the finale nude blush organza peony gown had jaws dropping.

The second part of the presentation was the lower-priced contemporary line Mark Badgley and James Mischka launched last year called ‘Mark & James’.

This collection has Taylor Swift’s name all over it.

It’s younger, it has shorter hemlines and more like what the rest of us will wear every day.

It had a mix of jacquard dresses, liquid leggings, fringed skirts, and there was particular attention paid to shoulders as materials were draped on shoulders of many pieces.

This collection was model-off-duty without being too-cool-for-school like Alexander Wang.

Celebrity guests included Annalynne McCord and Christina Hendricks.

Annalynne wore a cute strapless Badgley Mischka paired with well worn suede booties.

Christina said this was her first show at Fashion Week, which she attended with her mum. Now we know were she got that beautiful red hair from.
