Victoria Beckham Fall 2010

Victoria Beckham Fall 2010 collection was presented in an Upper East Side town house to select editors and stylists.

It’s been reported that Victoria narrated the show.  As a model stepped out wearing a stunning off-the-shoulder nude silk gown (far right) Victoria said, “It looks effortless, it looks chic and I’m going to wear this to the Oscars”.

It was apt that the presentation was on Valentine’s Day because I LOVED every piece of this collection.

Each piece was classic VB from the variety of LBD’s we will no doubt see her wearing  from LAX to Heathrow, to the red carpet gowns and cocktail dresses.

My absolute fave if I had to pick one was the metallic asymmetrical dress, which I can see worn by Cameron Diaz or Demi Moore.

With Rachel Zoe apparently oohing and ahhing at the presentation, this wish could become a reality.

I loved it too! there was not one bad dress in this collection. Nice to see some vibrant colors since there is so much black shown for fall at fashion week. Every model looked like VB which means she will not look bad in any of this dresses.

Love the collection. I’m so happy for her.

There have been so many speculations about her work, I hope this collection will shut the mouths!

Vic’s collections are better and better, the dresses all look absolutely stunning. I’m glad she added some vibrant colors and fabrics and I hope she will wear them herself and not stick to the classic LBDs !

I’m not fond of the sunglasses though, I don’t like the shape and I think they add nothing to the beautiful dresses. And I think she should have presented the dresses with other shoes, I’m a bit tired of these ones.

This is sooo chic and so VB… I just can’t stop gushing over her work. This is great. Blue moments I loved :-) Can’t wait to see her wearing some of these…

its very VB but she gave us something new at the same time. love it ! i can see someone like zoe saldana wearing the piece at the top (far right)

vic should be proud of herself. this is a very nice collection.

yeah, agree, the sunglasses need to go!

As Rachel Zoe says, “I die!” I loved everything from the Holly Golightly sunglasses to the ‘looser’ fits of the dresses and their draping details. A lot of critics said VB is a copy cat designer who lacks originality. Thank you, VB, for proving them wrong!!

My favorite dress is the nude mini with faint blue accents, but really, all of the dresses are fabulous. Can’t wait to see VB at the oscars!

I really disliked V Beckham with the boobs and the tacky tan (still not losing it) but for about 2 years I started to like her more and more.I love how she’s always put together and she’s not afraid to show that her style is not effortless(really fashionable lately) and that she is very attentinve with the way she looks. That said great collection!!I love the cream mini with the blue pattern and the Hepburn-ish dress love the glasses but only on that look.

I must admit, I didn’t believe when she started this line that she would go far but she definitely prooved me wrong. She just gets better and better.

She would look great in all of these. It must be fabulous to design almost everything in your own wardrobe.

I actually like that I can spot dresses that will suit a range of body types.

Like everyone else here, I like it very much indeed.

My thoughts exactly, in fact most of the pieces are wearable for different body types

Like most everyone, I am impressed and in love – glamorous, chic and with variety too, great use of color and draping – bravo! (I can picture Jessica Alba in lots of this….)

    • Fashion Critic February 15, 2010 at 16:46 #

OOoooh I like the idea of Jessica Alba wearing these looks. Thanks for planting that seed.

you should have been at the presentation, you’re such a big fan. you more than earned your place.

slightly off topic: the clothes are pretty, but the girls are painfully thin. it’s scary to look.

    • Fashion Critic February 15, 2010 at 23:03 #

      Next season. It’s my mission

  24. P. February 16, 2010 at 01:46 #

Oh, VB has been proving she only isn’t a talented singer, also she is a great designer, I’m loving all those pieces, one more than other, absolutely beautiful, sophisticated, like Victoria Beckham. I agree, FC you should have been at the presentation, I think Victoria commit a mistake doesn’t inviting you for the show !
