I was honestly very excited about the Herve Leger Fall 2010 presentation.
Firstly to see how Max Azria reinvigorates that now infamous bandage dress, and secondly to see who would be in the front row.
I was keen to see something new and interesting and this was presented via the laces woven into the dresses, and pieces with exaggerated hips.
The dresses were strapless, asymmetrical, half bandage/half lurex, ruffled and beaded.
Apart from bandage mini dresses we also saw coats, bodysuits, bandage pants, laced bandaged tops and slashed boots.
I did like many of the pieces. The collection walked a fine line between sophistication and urban edge.
I can see them being very popular with fans like Diane Kruger, Miley Cyrus and the rest of young Hollywood.
Dazed Editor Susie Bubble – who was seated behind me – broke etiquette by jumping in front of my video as I was filming the finale and ruined it unfortunately.

Sophia Bush was there wearing a futuristic Herve Leger dress.
Maggie Q is even more petite in real life. Her blue strapless bandage dress really popped in the front row, but she should’ve gone up one size to an xxs.
A bandage dress with tights??? Come on Tinsley Mortimer.
Alison Brie has been front row at a lot of shows I’ve attended, but I had to google her to find out who she was.
Jessica Szohr was carrying the Gossip Girl torch wearing a black blue striped bandage dress.
Unfortunately most of the celebs at Fashion Week are not generating much excitement.
Where’s Blake Lively and Leighton Meester?

Sophia Bush looks FRIGGEN OUTSTANDING!!
The collection had a rather biker chick feel that screams Kate Moss to me. I too want to see Blake at NY Fashion week but glad Sophia is therte
So-so.
Reminds me Gucci SS’10.
Sophia Bush is one of my favorite style icons. Stunning as always. I want a Hervé Léger dress too!
ohmygod..maggies dress is way too small for her!
yeah, agreed, not too many celebs have attended FW…we def need miss alba or leighton to attend sth. im not too fussed about blake cause she aint purty, and if she goes its only so she can show off her boobs and ass. sorry but true.
Sophia looks def the best, different but still very herve ledger.
i think sophia bush is the only person who will not dissapoint me with herve leger dress
♥
ditto
I think its her face and the way she carries herself which makes her look classy, instead of trashy.
Sophia = Class
*sigh*
A little bit off topic, but I’d like to say I just can’t stand the bloggers who think they can do anything. SB was so rude to step in front of your camera
((
I was furious.
No manners what so ever. I expected better from her
Like, OMG no way!! We should all like stop reading her blog
LOL!
sophia is probably the one person who can make herve leger look classy.
i am hating saying this but i do love look 10, 13, 20 and 23.
Aww, I love Alison Brie! She’s amazing on Community. Plus she looks gorgeous here, except for those shoes…
i really liked the collection, and the direction he is taking it
Sophia Bush always looks her best in Herve Leger! so stunning.
im actually liking this fall collection. they hardly ever translate well onto red carpet though…
this collection is nice but i’m getting bored of bandage dresses…
