What a perfect vision to wake-up to this morning in New York.
Tilda Swinton looked breath-taking at the “Tuan Yuan” Premiere during Berlin Film Festival last night.
A lot of you may think I only like dramatic heavily embellished gowns, but simple elegant gowns like this blue Haider Ackermann Spring 2010 gown can equally knock me off my feet.
The first time Tilda wore a Haider Ackermann look she made it on my Best Dressed of The Year list.
It’s way to early to predict this will make it, but I just love the way the dress wraps around her body.
The outstanding one-sleeved dress has an open back and sexy subtle thigh-high split that is definitely has her in contention for BDOTW.

I love Haider Ackermann, and I love Tilda. I just feel like she has the perfect figure and attitude to do the designer’s pieces immense justice. I’ve been waiting to see her wear something from this collection (perhaps she has before now and I’m not aware?) and I’m so glad she has because she looks marvellous.
The last piece she was from Ackermann was from the Fall 2009 collection.

This is an incredible look on Tilda – she’s up there with Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Connelly and Maggie Gyllenhaal for me. A select group of woman who bring intelligence and integrity to everything they wear.

They’re so easy to love. Well, for me they are anyway.
Even when they don’t get it completely 100% right (like Julianne in the Balenciaga earlier this week or Cate last week with the exposed stocking look for instance), the way in which they carry themselves and their willingness to experiment and push the boundaries of conventional red carpet dressing pulls me in. Tilda is truly magnificent in this.
On anyone else that hair would look insane, but the burst of fire at the top of Tilda just suits her. And that dress looks like it was made for her. BDOTW
