Rihanna is currently in Seoul, South Korea to promote her album latest album ‘Rated R’.
She arrived at a press conference held at Intercontinental Hotel wearing an Alexandre Vauthier black jacket from the recent Spring 2010 Couture presentation, which she paired with a peachy Isaac Mizrahi Spring 2010 skirt.
I love the Alexandre Vauthier jacket. Its very Rihanna with the peeked shoulders making a strong style statement.
The Isaac Mizrahi skirt with the gathered detail is heavenly.
Sadly I only like the pieces separately. Together they don’t work for me.
I understand the she wanted to stay true to her edgier style, whilst giving her fans a look at her soft feminine side, but she should have picked a lane and stayed in it.
This is too confusing.
Her look was paired with Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots.
With Rihanna there are no grey areas, so do you love it or hate it?

Absolutely love it! I especially like the cross between soft and hard which is what gives the look this signature “Rihanna feeling” I get when I see her.
hate this look, which is a shame as i have loved some of her previous looks lately. i like the pieces as seperates, but the heavy jakcet and ankle boots together with that light skirt not a fan of that.
I LOVE THIS. I have very very rarely liked anything she’s worn recently, but I love everything about this look.
God, somebody tell this girl to take a break. She’s getting boring now.
I like this look up until the ankle boots. I think a strappy silver pair of heels would’ve looked great.

i adore the skirt and that jacket ruins it for me… i love the jacket too, but i think these pieces shouldn’t be together.
I love jacket with big and original shoulders, I think this silhouette do women confident of course with big heels. My favourite jacket with shoulders is Balmain but this jacket by Alexandre Vauthieris ir gorgeous too and Rihanna looking very elegant and sexy.
I love this look, but Rihanna rarely does any wrong in my book. I think she looks fantastic.

I normally hate her fashion choices but for some reason I like this… I don’t like the too OTT shoulders on the jacket as you don’t know where to pay your attention to but she looks ok.
Even her hair looks decent for once.

I’m not into weird shoulders, but this seems to be a style that Rhianna likes. I agree with Nikki. The skirt and jacket are cute on their own. Together, it’s just not working. She should have worn something like a corset or bustier on top, ie. ditch the jacket and keep the skirt.

I actually like it it suits the culture she is in right now.
The mix is very rihanna but it has a very eastern flare to it that fits in with the country.
I like it! She always dresses in a way that really suits her personality and style of music.
If she’d worn a white shirt as on the model, it would have broken up the look perfectly. But without that break it’s too blocky and doesn’t blend together.

I’m kinda liking this, maybe just the shoes/booties not quite right, but it’s a creative mix without being completely over the top and thus meaningless – here you can see what she was going for, it’s fairly clairified, so props from me.
