Last night Julianne Moore, Tom Ford and Colin Firth attended the Paris premiere of “A Single Man”.
The beautiful redheaded actress – who I’ve put on a pedestal with Cate Blanchett – was glowing.
She wore a pink silk cloque Balenciaga gown, which doesn’t appear on the runway as it was custom-made.
At first I was bothered by the large waist belt, but without it the dress would’ve been totally shapeless.
It’s a stunning gown and I love the gold shimmer and what appears to be a cape at the back.
As always Julianne keeps things interesting on the red carpet.

I love the colour and texture but not sure about the style…..really don’t like the cape thing!
Pretty in pink! She looks fabulous. Make up and hair are perfect. Tom Ford is perfection as well.

I definitely love the color of this – it is a perfect shade of pink for her coloring and hair; and I love the contrast of the wide black belt too, but like others, the train and the way it somehow affects the fit around the waist area bothers me…….still, she’s glowing and looks beautiful.
She always takes risks. Best dressed please!
I don’t begin to understand the appeal of ths dress. I adore the fabric (although it looks like it belongs on a coat, not a gown), but it seems all wrong as far as the sructure and fit and the belt, which seems to have come from a completely different outfit. The fabric seems much too heavy for the cape, which is odd enough to begin with. Love Tom Ford, though!!

The fabric is beautiful, but the dress is ugly. A dress with a pink sparkly cape. Are you serious? Ugly. I hope that she is not chosen as one of the best dressed.

I think Julianne is gorgeous in this color, but I really don’t like the dress. It looks like it could stand by itself.
At first I wanted to be disappointed and scream ‘the dress drowns her- where is her body?’ but on closer inspection, it fits perfectly and she, as always, is stunning. God, I love my fellow redheads.
