Jessica Biel joined her cast-mates on the red carpet last night at the “Valentine’s Day” LA Premiere.
I must say I was shocked when I saw Jessica.
Not because was wearing Oscar de la Renta, because she often wears Oscar’s designs on big occasions like the Vanity Fair Party and the “Easy Virtue” Premiere at Rome Film Festival.
I was shocked because on this occasion I don’t hate the look.
OK it maybe a tad frou frou for a LA premiere and more suited to Cannes Film Festival, but for someone who doesn’t take a risk I appreciate this one.
For once she wanted to stand out on the red carpet.
The colour is gorgeous, her lip colour is complementary and luscious.
My only criticism is that her hair looked far better from the front than the back, but that’s just being overly picky.
She completed her look with pale pink Louboutin heels.
Frou Frou or Fabulous?

love love love love it!!! so pretty!!
Frou Frou!
It’s just all too much for me!
love the dress but her hair and shes let it down. silver strappy sandals would have worked better since this dress is light and “fluffy” the heels just seem to clunky.
Love the dress, just dont get how she will put that much effort in wearing this beautiful gown but will not get her hair done. Her hair looks like she did it two minutes and it is a let down.
She was probably the best dressed. I think the He’s Just Not That Into You cast was more interesting, though. Jennifer Connelly in Balmain!
I for one LOVE it, it looks very Valentines day-ish.
love the colour of the dress. hair and makeup isnt disastrous either. however, the dress is too much at the bottom…its like it tatters! if it was shorter, it’ll be a lot better and occasion appropiate
I completely agree about the length!
Frou Frou, but the hair and heels could have been better to make the frou frou more fab fab!
I love her dress, but does the person who does her hair hate her? She always looks like she is on the way to the gym instead of a movie premiere. Unless you are 10 and it is 1985, half of your hair should NOT be coming out of a ponytail.
Fabulous! Who cares about the back of her head!!! Look at the front people, the front!
lol
Frou frou. She’s just trying too hard. The dress is just too much, for her and for this particular red carpet event. Not even a fan or her hair or her makeup.
Frou Frou!
I love it! Agree completely with the comment about her hair stylist hating her – but everything else is pretty much on. It’s a great dress for her – and agree with FC that I love to see her taking a risk.
Personally don’t like the dress but think she makes it work and looks great. Are these Louboutins she’s wearing?
yes..i just saw a close up of the heel
Fab! But maybe she could’ve shortened it, don’t you think?
Shortening this dress may have been a disaster
I love the dress and even the shoes. Her makeup isn’t bad either. But… the hair. Why the hair…
I just looked through photos and I have to say… I think Bradley Cooper, Jewel, and Rebecca Grayheart may be the only ones that look close to head to toe perfection.
That dress would have been more fitting for the premiere if the hemline was above the knee. I like the dress, but Jessica Biel is a total yawn. And the hair? She needs to fire her hair stylist.
On her? Fab! She usually wears such plain dresses that this one is a breath of spring blossomed air
if not for hair!
FABULOUS!
Maybe it’s too much for a movie’s premiere, but Jessica rarely knock out, so I really appreciate her effort!! Personally, hair, make up and shoes are OK!!
Too much frou frou, a bit tacky. The big problem is she can’t carry a big look, she’s such a beautiful woman but she looks uncomfortable and out of place on most red carpets. Just saw “Easy Virtue” the other day and she looks incredible in that movie, her costumes are amazing, wish she could shine like that in a real-life event.
dress looks better on the taller model. Beautiful dress, but frou frou for this occasion, a bit to much, but not like the one time she wore that red atelier Versace dress at the met gala (2009?)
that time the dress was totaly wearing her, and did not look as stunning as on the model
oops, I agree with you, Leo, just what I was talking about, she tries to wear these looks and cannot own them. Even Eva Longoria get it right on big dresses sometimes and she’s a shortie.
ITA
she’s FABULOUS!!! I love the dress teh make up the hair even she can do better
I only like mid’ish section. From Waist to Lips…
i love the dress i love her i love almost everthing about this look it totally works for this premier and im just inn love wit the overall look!!! STUNNING JESS keep it up!
Gotta give her the props for trying here. She tried and it worked for once. Yay.
