French actress Eva Green was in London last night to present the Best Film award at Monday night’s “Evening Standard British Film Awards”.
The Princess of Darkness and usually Dior, seems to have deflected to Alexander McQueen for her recent red carpet appearances and she continues the run at this event.
She wore a black fitted Alexander McQueen two tone zig zag dress with shoulder pads.
You can just about make out the zig zag pattern in her black version.
I may have been totally bored by this look had Eva not added those stunning Alexander McQueen Geometric leather pumps and the hot touch of red to her lips.

dont like the dress and the shoes together. the shoes are amazing though!
eva doesnt look too good here…she looks old. what happened?!
she’s beautiful nonetheless. not feeling the outfit at all
I loved the shoes, too. But unfortunately (I was there) she changed them once she got inside to a pair of burgundy platforms which weren’t nearly so interesting. I didn’t realise it was this dress. I prefer the colour version, but she did look absolutely stunning in the black.
Why oh why did she do that.
I can just picture how it sucked the life out of her look.
It really did. The moment she walked through the door in the yellow and black ones I said “wow, look at those shoes” and then later, with the red ones, it was just a non-look.
I was looking at it and thought, darn the original red and blue is better… until I saw the shoes, totally did a 180.
I love this blog!
But I think you mean ‘defected’.
Similarly, I love Eva but ugh.
She can do better.
Thanks.
I did mean deflected which means to change course.
She’s changed from Dior to McQueen.
It makes her look fat, and she ain’t fat.
I just can’t like this. It is confusing, boring and just unput together. Quite awful actually. At least for me.
