Rihanna made a colourful appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week.
During the show she talked about her plan for love, and confirmed that she was single despite being seen getting cozy with baseball star Matt Kemp.
She talked about her newest tattoo, but Ellen didn’t ask her any questions about Chris Brown which must have been a relief for her.
The singer performed two of her hit singles during the show.
Whilst singing my favourite “Please Don’t Stop The Music”, she wore a Jeremy Scott Fall 2009 dress.
Jeremy Scott is known for his kooky and fun-filled collections and Rihanna likes to surprise us, so I can’t be too shocked with this look.
The fitted dress has a series of colourful wiggles which feature on the upper part of her dress and on the base of her skirt.
This is not my favourite look from Rihanna, but as always I have to commend her for keeping things interesting.
What I really want to know is why is Ellen wearing thigh-high boots? I’m guessing for a laugh.

True. Ciara also wore the all black version, and Amber Rose wore the yellow Mickey Mouse version.
A ‘who wore it better’ should be interesting.

Ellen’s boots are actually a joke. She mentioned them in the beginning of the show. She was limping on them! ahahah Lack of practice for sure!

But actually I like that Rihanna wore the funny dress with those DocMartens looking boots instead of the thigh-high version… It gives a grungy edge to the outfit.
Ellen was wearing the boots because Rihanna wore them a while back so she was seeing how (un)comfortable they were. She ended up taking them off after that.
i often reaaaally don’t like rihanna’s choices; she looks like she’s trying too hard! but this is just so fun and fresh. maybe different shoes next time?

its a playful dress and i’m glad she wore those boots with it, like Agi, said, it makes for a slightly grungy look. kudos to Ellen for her sense of humour, she looks good in those boots though
