Son Dam Bi arrived at the 19th Seoul Music Awards this week wearing a Stella McCartney Spring 2010 tangerine dress.
The dress is gorgeous with it’s flouncy hem and ruffled neckline, but Son turned my smile upside down with an earth shattering thud at her feet.
Yes she really is wearing biker boots with her beautiful dress.
I’m also not particularly loving the ponytail with this look. It the kinda pony one sports when going to the gym. This is not stylize at all.
Over all I’m quite disappointed.

Brilliant dress, agree, FC, the boots are a disaster!
I LOVE the dainty dress and biker boots combination. I am craving Jessica Alba’s Prada boots.
It shows a hint of rebellion and individuality. Sometimes it is too easy to go pretty pretty..

I’m a huge fan of the ponytail, I found it fresh, chic and sporty at the same time… Regarding the biker boots, well, they could be great for a particular photoshoot, but NOT for this occasion!!! Although she can do it with her legs…

normally i hate big clunky boots with a lovely dress but theres something about these ones with this dress that i love! i think she looks terrific & is totally owning the whole look!
LOL – this is interesting! I think she just pulls it off, but I do agree that it would’ve been stunning with the right heels.
I’ve noticed at a lot of Korean red carpet events this/last year, all their attendees wear some variations of ‘biker boots’ – mostly guys, sometimes girls. I think it’s a trend over there which doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
I think she made this look work. I would usually cringe at the sight of a dainty dress with heavy boots but when I saw this I was pleasantly surprised. She definitely made it look cute but edgy. I think the ponytail also helped in achieving this.

i think she just pulls this look off. i love the dress on her but it wouldve been 10x better with better shoes. i like her hairstyle as well
Such a shame she wore those boots. But last month @ 24th Golden Disk Awards she was AMAZING. I am disappointed .
I’m sorry… I love Stella… but I don’t like this dress at all… I only like the bright color and the movement… but the neckline and silhouette look a little bit childish to mee… Sorry
