I’m so utterly and totally in love with Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel’s Marie Claire US March 2010 editorial.
The first thing I said when I saw the cover was “SEE Jessica, when you put on a bit of make-up and wash your hair you ARE a stunning woman”.
Hopefully when Jessica goes on the promo tour for her new movie “Valentine’s Day” we will see more of this.
My fingers are crossed, but I won’t be holding my breath.
The actresses – who have now apparently become BFFs – look delightful on the cover wearing Isaac Mizrahi and Marchesa.
The rest of the editorial sees them wearing more Marchesa and Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2010 collection.
As much as I love the glamorized pictures, I also love the black and white more natural pictures which show what great friends they’ve become.
Here are some extracts from their interview. You can read more at MarieClaire.com.
Garner on her husband Ben Affleck filming “The Town”: “I’m so impressed by his discipline. He gets up and works out every day at 4am before heading off to work. Every day. I used to do that sometimes for Alias.”
Garner on whether having a famous partner double her own fame: “Well, we don’t need them to be famous ourselves. It’s not like I go to Jessica, ‘Oh, how’s your famous boyfriend?’”
Biel on having a famous partner: “It does help to have a partner who understands what fame is about and can share that with you. It’s a hurdle you don’t have to get over.”

Argh. It’s such a shame that Jennifer is sitting down in that gorgeous purple Marchessa dress, you lose so much of the detail. I agree with you, FC, about the black and white pictures. They look like the kind of pictures I’d love to have with my bestie.
i love so much this shoot, jess and jen are very beautiful together, and is true that jessica should have take care of herself because she is very beautiful with amazing dresses and with make up!!!!good job!!
Love this editorial! So much life in this pictures. Marchesa and Victoria Beckham two of my fav. desginers. pretty and feminie clothing
this editorial is so sweet. i love them in vb and jennifer in that beautiful marchesa dress. <3 wonder if we’ll see that on the red carpet? i hope so!
This shoot is adorable. It is so much better when magazines let celebrities have fun with it rather than trying to do super serious model poses.
What a terrible photoshoot! Not only are their outfits boring, but they are both bland. Lifeless.
They look so cute, I am in love with this photoshoot.
Jennifer and Jessica are beautiful women.
I love the black and white pictures.
both of them are beautiful women, but they definitely lack some character… beautiful but kinf of empty…
Snooze…..
boring. but I love the marchesa dress on jennifer though
i think the shoot is really refreshing and fun. love the clothes…and love the last b/w picture…so cute!
JEnnifer looks so beautiful! The cover is the best shot! But the one where Jennifer is in Marchessa is so adorable!
it’s a nice editorial indeed
I think Jennifer Garner is the first person who I think looks gorgeous with that sort of bangs.
jennifer garner is so adorable
They look adorable – very cute
What a great shoot! I love the pic where Jennifer is sitting on the floor with the drink – so adorable and that dress is amazing!
this editorial is a nice change! love it. but i can´t help to wonder how Jennifer can possibly look prettier, younger than her bff. Jessica has aged a lot i must say.
I find both of these women, especially Jessica Biel, boring. They wear nice clothes but they appear vanilla. The two of them are wearing this gorgeous, vibrant dresses, and all that I keep thinking is BLAH!
Maybe I am reading too much into it, but why does wearing make up and hair have to make someone stunning?
All those are vanity and man made. Natural beauties are pretty without all those ‘enhacements’. IMO
