Givenchy muse Ciara walked the red carpet at the 2010 Grammy Awards wearing yet another Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture look fresh off the Paris runway.
On Saturday night she attended the Grammy Awards “Salute To Icons Honoring Doug Morris” event wearing a big bird like Givenchy Couture creation, but this look was more elegant.
This jumpsuit is very Dolce & Gabbana with the lace revealing the panties which didn’t faze her. She was in total control of this look.
I loved that she kept her hair back and wore minimal make-up, plus I love the detail on her jacket which had intricate coils and moon-sized rhinestone embellishing it.
Although I didn’t quite get the Givenchy/Ciara pairing, I do love this look on her. I would’ve thought this look would be hard to pull off but she did so with ease.

I like the look and her confidence.
ciara in givenchy so new !
I don’t agree at all. From the neck up she looks gorgeous! From the neck down is a whole different story. I feel like she’s really trying to do the whole high fashion thing, and it isn’t working.
I agree with Ally. The body suit is really throwing this look off for me. As compared with the runway look, it’s really obscuring some of the detail that you want to see above and below the jacket. Although it would have been less daring, I think this would have looked better with a flesh toned lining throughout– to better preserve the detail.
She was cute in a red carpet interview so I came away liking her more.
Some of us were hoping to see this on the red carpet – I think she looks amazing!
co sign with Ally and Leti!!!
I so badly want high fashion to work for this gorgeous lady but it isn’t.
I think she carries it off very nicely.
The patterning on the skirt looks great against her skin.
I love this look on her, it’s not like Britney and D&G at all (tacky and ugly). Everything works for me here.
I don’t like how broad her shoulders look in this dress…
