It’s been said that whenever Anne Hathaway is in a Best Dressed poll she always wins.
That theory was shattered to pieces this week as Diane Kruger won wearing the mustard Jason Wu gown she wore to the SAG Awards this time last week.
Their was a debate as to whether Diane had attempted to recreate Michelle Williams’ 2006 Vera Wang Oscar magic, but it looks like we loved Diane none the less.
We loved her grace, her poise and the unusual colour which ensured she stood out on the SAG Awards red carpet.

I don’t think she was trying to emulate Michelle William’s red carpet at the Oscars 2006. There are different types of stars I think. There are stars who think they can be elegant and have poise and then there are stars who actually do have elegance and poise. Diane and Michelle are examples of stars who have that. It was only a cosmic coincidence that they both chose that gorgeous and unusual colour.
It’s gorgeous and cute at the same time
But Andrè Leon Talley didn’t think so. I don’t know what was inside his head
I really don’t see Michelle. A mustard colored dress does not equal Michelle William’s Oscar dress. It’s about the fit and look of the dress, and this Jason Wu is one of a kind. Michelle’s look was more floaty to me, and this is more Old Hollywood glamour. Magnifique and no doubt the BDOTW.
A HUGE step up from the Gold Globes…. my favorite color is yellow…. so any shade of yellow is fine wit’ me…. I also love the fit and the silhouette….. but the silhouette does kinda remind me of that Versace dress J.Lo wore to the premier of El Cantante….. both beautiful dresses….
I am the only person in the world who hated this dress in the baby poop color. I think that she could have done better. I just don’t understand everyone jumping on the bandwagon of this thing.
