Runway To “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event – Ginnifer Goodwin in Calvin Klein

Actress Ginnifer Goodwin wore a Calvin Klein Spring 2010 ruched nude mini dress to the “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event in LA.

At first glance, I quite liked this. It’s soft and feminine, and the sheer puff shoulders are gorgeous.

If anyone knows how to do chic simplicity, it’s Ginnifer.

I also really like the long necklace that Ginnifer has worn with the dress, as it stops the look from becoming too bland.

But the more I look at it, the more I think something is missing.

My main issue with this outfit is that she has chosen to match her shoes and clutch bag to her dress. To me it seems to be crying out for some colour.

How do you feel about this look?

I love this. :) I know it’s a bit of a “bland” look, but I honestly think a pop of color would have been out of place.

I agree, it’s a minimalist look and she honored that.

Suprisingly, I quite like the look. It’s a good thing she’s a brunette, as it looks good with her colouring. Not a fan of those shoes though! Too clunky for this look.

I think the dress looks way better than on the runway. Ginnifer really glows! She looks lovely :)

    Lipstick would’ve done the job!

I agree, a dark red lipstick could bring some interesting drama to the look. I still like, though, lipstick or not.

I completely agree, with this and all other comments, except about the shoes…not too clunky at all imo :)

Had it not been for the necklace I would have also felt something was missing. But I think it brings the look together.
I love it. I don’t think colour would have looked right here. Maybe bronze/copper colour clutch/heels would have helped but the outfit looks good as it is!

i like this look. its different. i agree with the abovr post that bronze or copper shoes wouldve been nice as well. she’s smiling here and looks good!

I agree with you. The look is great but with she was wearing a different shoe she would be sparkling.

A pop of color would have been nice. But she looks great.

I really don’t like that necklace with the dress, that is what really ruins it for me.
