The Armani Privé Spring 2010 collection included sleek tailored looks which embodied the shape of a crescent moon.
The moon theme was both subtle and obvious.
Suit buttons were in the shape of the crescent moon, gowns had the moon shape within the folds, whilst other pieces were accessorized with moon necklaces and clutches.
Armani presented silvery hues and exaggerated silhouettes, which would look amazing Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway who was in the front row.
The amazing shapes and shimmering looks were presented with a muted colour palette of black, white silver and navy.
All of the gowns were Oscar ready. Lets keeps our fingers crossed that they grace the red carpet.

Really gorgeous well thought out collection – especially love the first and fourth look of the top row.
This jackets such unusual, such original, Armani have a very good fantasy, it is gorgeous. I imagine that Giorgio Armani looked on night sky, stars and moon and create this amazing collection, it is such nice.

With Chanel Haute Couture it is my favourite show of this fashion week haute couture. Everything is amazing, I love the gowns.
The “circle” dress looks like something Lady Gaga would wear.
I like this, I would love to see Dita in the bottom 2nd picture’s suit!
Immediate request on Wish List (I’ll email you too FC and Sophie), I want that shimmering rise-fall gown on the top right to be worn by Anne Hathaway.
And… as for the collection… I’m very interested to see how some of these looks translate off the runway. But I love the color palette and the gowns!

One of the best Armani collections so far. Love almost all the pieces! Did you saw the latest releases? They scream “Take me to the Oscars”
