Back To Back Black Award
Much like last year, Penelope Cruz has opted for back to back black looks on the red carpet during awards season.
As much as I like stars to mix things up a little, I do love Pen in this L’Wren Scott Spring 2010 black beaded embellished fitted dress with fringed shoulders.
Her hair is elegantly swept over one shoulder, and her make-up is – as always – annoyingly flawless.
Her look was paired with Dana Davis black satin knotted front heels and Chopard jewels.
This picture really isn’t doing her justice. She looked better on screen.

And there’s no exception for Pen. I like this look much better than the Armani. The skin shown makes it more daring, and it’s not as old-fashioned as her Globes look.
I don’t like this look any better than her previous at the Globes. Come on, when will she stop dressing as if she were thirty years older? She had some great looks whilst promoting ‘Nine’ and now, at the awards season, when she should be making the utmost effort, she keeps disappointing.
first things first, she does look gorgeous. but (and being someone who wears a lot of black) I’d love to see her in some colour again.
i miss penelope in gorgeous coloured gowns. though this is still a good look from her…
FC is right, on TV she looked way better. Still, my first thought was “Another boring black dress for Penelope.” It is a really nice dress, but a let down when you’ve seen the colour and silouhette on her so many times before.
She is so boring lately, it is a big disappointment
