It’s A Grower Award
My first reaction was to dislike Michelle Monaghan’s Calvin Klein one-shoulder gun-metal dress, but after sleeping on it my mind has changed.
What I love about the two tone grey dress, is that is not like anything else on this red carpet.
Whilst most wore satin or chiffon gowns, Michelle gave us something totally different with this beautiful haunting creation.
Her earrings are exquisite, whilst she matched her dress with Christian Louboutin Ole Ole pewter goa lame platform pumps.

I too was struck by the “totally different” aspect of this look, and I love it. She was also wearing an amazing (and also very “different”) ring.
different or not, I really dislike it.
I loved this. Another one of my favourites.
michelle is so beautiful that i cant say i hate this look. its different and unique but it still doesnt look quite right…her makeup, jewelry and hair is great though
I like it. Refreshingly different. Not too ‘TA-DA’ but not too samey, perfect for pre-Oscar appearance. Puts people on notice.
Well put, I agree
I love that she didn’t go for a “prom dress” as so many do. This is different. And I like how the two tone helps define her waist.
Love it!
As soon as I saw her on stage, I was blown away by her beauty in this. It’s a refreshing look. My best dressed.
She is so pretty. This dress how over doesn’t match. I’m not saying that it’s not nice, but the color is a little drab.
i *adore* this look. everything looks polished and stunning, from the earrings (i want them…. who are they by??) to the degradé shade of that beautifully draped dress to the pewter shoes. and then there’s her hair… heart, heart, heart!!
