De Ja Vu Award
As much as Edie Falco looks good in this deep red Bottega Veneta Resort 2010 strapless gown, I’m REALLY disappointed that she didn’t do her red carpet homework.
Had she or her stylist done their homework, they would have known that the great Julianne Moore wore this same gown last year to the Chloe London Premiere.
For large events like this we shouldn’t see re-runs.
Edie completes her look with a matching Bottega Veneta satin quilted knot clutch.

She does look darn good. Too bad about the repeat.
I like the dress. The repeat thing is a shame. And I really don’t like the bracelets. But the red on her skin and with her blonde hair is a definite fashion ‘do.’
I don’t think the repeat thing is so much of a problem here! The dress is simple and suits Edie to perfection – had a big a-lister been wearing the same dress it would have been a disaster!
She wears it so well, though, and the color is incredible. I like the way the classic flowing gown plays against the attitude of her spiky hair. Makeup, hair, jewelry – she looks pretty great!
I think that it looked better on the model. Like me, she’s too broad up top for that type of dress.
