After writing about many American and Asian events, I finally get to bring you the first major British red carpet event of the year.

Last night the National Television Awards took place at the 02 Arena.

Our favourite of the night was ex-Eastenders actress Kara Tointon who graced the red carpet wearing an Alexander McQueen lace-detail floor-length gown.

We love how sleek she looks, and her classy up do. Such a difference from chavy Dawn.

TV Presenter Tess Daly glowed in a white RM by Roland Mouret Maestro wool crepe dress, which she paired with gold accessories.

We are used to ONLY seeing Big Brother presenter Davina McCall wearing black. But she took a night off wearing her favourite colour to walk the red carpet wearing a navy Notte by Marchesa strapless silk-chiffon gown

TV presenter Konnie Huq opted for something from the high-street by wearing a Karen Millen Kaleidoscope print dress paired with red peep-toes.

So glad that my girls didn’t wear tights on the red carpet last night.
