A few weeks ago we saw Lee Na Young promoting her new movie “Happy Change” wearing a silver Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010 coat/dress.
Since then she’s continue her promotion tour showing great style in Chanel and Prada.
Recently she attended a press conference for her movie wearing a black knit chiffon dress from the Chanel Spring 2010 collection.
This dress featured in the Chanel Spring 2010 ad campaign featuring Claudia Schiffer.
I like the dress, but without the volume in the skirt the nude underlay appears longer than the knit skirt which slightly bugs me.

At the Gwangjin press conference in Seoul, the actress opted for a Prada Resort 2010 ensemble.
I love the cute sweater which has a back-to-school feel about it.
The overall look has an interesting mish-mash of colours and textures with the wool sweater and the silk skirt.
My only problem with the look are the printed ballet flats. A solid colour would’ve worked better for me.

At a VIP screening of the movie, Lee looked much smarter wearing a block coloured Prada Resort 2010 dress with nude heels.
The nude colour slightly washes her out, but the dress overall look is quite impressive.
You may remember we’ve seen Australian model Lara Bingle wearing this same dress last year.

At this press conference Lee opted for another Chanel dress from the Spring 2010 collection.
Funnily enough this dress also features in the Chanel Spring 2010 ad campaign.
I much preferred this dress. She kept the skirt voluminous, but I’m slightly confused about the fur scarf.
It appears Lee prefers flats to heels, as she wore yellow flats with this look for a dash of colour.

I don’t know if I wore haute couture dresses such often as film stars, I would become careless about it’s look and would consider it as a simple casual appearance??? No, no, no. How dares somebody wear a Chanel dress soo trashy like Lee Na Young on the first photo??? It looks like a whole mess, total disaster, it is a shame on the name Chanel.
It looks as she put it on in 5 minutes, before going on stage. The other looks aren’t so much better.
Shame on you, Miss Young.
My other critics is on the whole Asian brigade: why do you want to look like European and American women and wearing always “western” fashion? Don’t you have your own style and designers? Is it a shame to wear them? In one word, Asian stars are snobs, and I can’t stand that.
1. I agree that she’s not doing justice to the garments.
2. We are entitled to wear whatever we like. its 2010 not 1810
Its a shame that your judging all “Asian stars.” DOn’t assume that they are always wearing “western fashion” Because there are a lot of events that are not covered on this site.(But I am very happy that Catherine is covering many Asian events now!) Its your opinion but I have to disagree with you. Fashion is to be embraced by those who love fashion regardless of what country you are from. Asians are not just entitled to wear their own country’s designers. And they do wear them it’s just that those designers are not recognized and so not many know about them… etc. Actually quite often at an Korean red carpet event.. there are those who where modernized traditional wear.
Is it so bad to share the likings of European and American women? After all we are all women.. we are bound to look all over the world for fashion styles. I don’t mean to offend you in anyway! And BTW her last name is Lee, not Young.
I liked the Prada Resort looks. I hate how shes wearing a fur scarf with the dress and flats.. its like showing two different seasons at once!lol
Love her in the second Prada look. Effortless chic.
Both Chanel looks are not quite right. The second one is so terrible.
I liked both Prada looks, even the flowered flats, but both Chanel looks were awful – too bad, where is Diane when you need her!
