Jennifer Connelly may have been replaced as the face of Balenciaga, but that hasn’t stopped the actress staying loyal to the brand.
In New York yesterday she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater for her appearance on the “Late Show With David Letterman” wearing head-to-toe Balenciaga.
Normally I would cringe at tights and peep-toe heels, but they work so well with her overall look.
The main focus of this look is that stunning multi-coloured fringed leather skirt with a banded low-slung waist.
This is the perfect mix of preppy and edgy.
A look she always pulls off so well.
I adore her here.

Here’s the first release from the Balenciaga Spring 2010 ad campaign.

Great.
She looks gorgeous, the skirt is amazing. The look would be perfect without the scarf.
I love the idea of the Balenciaga ad campaign, but I don’t know why it hurts my eyes.
Agree! It hurts my eyes too!
Love her here ! She’s so beautiful !
I love the skirt and all its beautiful details. I prefer the runway look minus the shoes. I think Jennifer took the safe approach on how she chose to wear the skirt with all that black, but it is nice to see this piece off the runway.
its so cool that she’s stylish AND warm makes it seem more of a real outfit!
Wow those are some stunningly edgy shoes she’s wearing. Love them! I love how it’s chic, and yet comfy-looking!
she looks amazing! that skirt is so cool!
really amazing!bdotw contender?
woooow she looks amazing!!definetely bdotw contender…i think her balenciaga fall 09 was amazing…not everyone liked it..but this campaign really hurts my eyes.i mean that it it ugly
Please! BDOTW! she’s so beautiful!!!
She rarely dissapoints. She’s so beautiful and fashionable beyond belief, and she’s not even trying hard, atleast i don’t get that impression from her.
I like the contrast of white and the skirt more than black and the skirt.
I like this look, but I’m not completely sold yet on it.
That ad makes my brain hurt
“Perfect mix of preppy and edgy” is a really good description of this. Love the look and her!
Fashion Critic, please tell me that this is a BDOTW contender! Effortless doesn’t even begin to sum it up. The woman is a goddess.
Since so many of are requesting, she will be
Weirdly perfect for winter – I love this!
Excellent! With so many great looks this week, BDOTW is going to be incredibly difficult.
