Runway To Violence Prevention Fund-Raiser – Nicole Kidman In Jil Sander

As a Goodwill Ambassador in the fight against women and violence, Nicole Kidman attended a violence prevention fund-raiser in San Francisco on Friday.

I should be happy that Nicole’s wearing a designer other than L’Wren Scott, but the second I saw this look something was off.

I love this Jil Sander off-white, long-sleeved dress with it’s oversized pockets. It’s sophisticated and event appropriate.

I’m not even going to moan about those darn kitten heels on this occasion.

What’s not working for me is this look without a belt.

The belt makes this dress. It gives it more shape and authority.

I can’t say I love what’s going on with the hair either.

I know I said I was only going to have one wish this year, but if I’m allowed to have one more I wish for Nicole to get back to her perfect best.

I agree about the belt, but it doesn’t bother me that much because I enjoy seeing Nicole Kidman in fashion forward brands. I love that other Jil Sander dress she wore back in 2008 (the fringe one). L’Wren Scott is just blah and I hope she wears more Jil Sander.

I agree about the belt, the dress looks too safari without it. I love hair and make up though.

I love Jil Sander. But meh, bored with Kidman.

I think she looks great still.

For me, Nicole has too much botox to ever be ‘perfect best’ again…….that said, I think Jil Sander is a perfect match for her, she has the long, lean limbed body and perfect posture to show off JS minimalist designs to great advantage. A belt would have been nice here, but I still think it works.

I barely recognized Nicole at the first sight.
What is it? New make up?

I don’t mind her Kitten heels. I am also 5’10 and find wearing fierce heels frustrating-it is terribly frustrating being 6’2 and a woman. trust me.
